The cover to an upcoming split 7", Population Reduction and an Italian band I can't remember the name to right now... This might be final, or I might go tweak it more... the blank space on the tops is for the logo, and in the middle is for the title of the 7". my vote goes for "GRIND BY YOUR HOUSE" AWESOME!!!!! the theme i went for was like medieval plague time dead raising or something. I dunno it was late when i drew it.

heh heh, I always feel funny submitting to the "macabre and horror" catagory. i'm so not macabre. I'm like the anti-macabre, whatever that is. thesaurus anyone? i feel like a run a gauntlet every time i submit something, it's like an inquisition. what happens if i get my catagory wrong? shit!

Anyway a big cheer out to Ben of Population Redux, I was deep in the pits last night and he called and cheered me up. (And asked me for art, ha ha!) Seriously they are awesome, I'm lucky to be in Ben's top 8!!! ha ha, now go check out their myspace. [link]

I like how it has that ooooold feel to it. I wouldn't be surprised to see a manticore eating a serf carrying a chicken. And the title "grind by your house" puts me in mind of a somber procession of skaters standing still and straight while doing some ridiculous grind along the curb in front of a house and holding their middle fingers erect. It's all very... something.
